ForNever came highly recommended to me from a friend, who said she could not put it down - and I have to agree. The love triangle between Heather, Kieran and Jayden intertwined with all of the magic, shadows, curses and sorcery can't help but pull the reader in. However, where I think Lynette Ferreira excels the most, is in her connection to the character of Heather. Heather is being confronted with changes in her life, changes which she has no control of. She is seeing her father as a totally different person in his new relationship and she is feeling a certain disloyalty to her mother for being supportive of him. Like many teenagers, she is caught in the middle and trying her best to please everyone. Heather's internal dialogues and struggles were very real to me because of thoughtful attention to detail and a strong feeling of empathy. The character of Jayden and his longing for what was, and what could be, also pulled at my heartstrings and once even made me cry. I can't wait to read Book 2.

Heather is an English girl living in Ireland. The disintegration of her parents' marriage has left her bitter and unwilling to believe in true love. This proves inconvenient when she finds herself pursued by two young men. Kieran and Jayden are brothers. They are also sorcerers who have been following Heather throughout her successive lifetimes. Turns out the trio was cursed during the Salem witch trials and is destined to remain locked in a cycle of love and loss until Heather finally chooses the right brother. The reader knows which brother is the right one, and this adds to the tension. We watch Heather agonize and falter, unsure if she will follow her head or her heart.

The only issue I had with FORNEVER is the author's tendency to weigh down her descriptions with a lot of historical information. As a reader, it's always nice to experience exciting locations. However, too much detail presented all at once can slow down the story and take us out of the fictional world.

If you enjoy your love triangles with a paranormal twist, FORNEVER is a fun and often humorous read.
ForNever has just the right amount of magic and supernatural elements woven through a three century love story to capture the reader’s interest and imagination. You will want to know how this ends and will keep reading until the final page. The ordinary existence of the sixteen year old heroine is painted with careful attention to the details that develop the story. As her understanding of love evolves through her parents’ divorce, she comes to value the many different kinds of love. The choice she faces between Kieran and Jayden, between safety and heart-thumping romantic love, has a universality of appeal. I enjoyed this well written book and look forward to the sequel!
The love Jayden has for Heather is the kind of love I want , definitely reccomend this to romance lover! Really wish I can read book 2 to find out what happens next
I am normally a fan of thrillers and horrors ,however this was a very well written,intriguing novel with a dark twist using the Salem Witch trials and a love triangle - I liked the way this kept you wanting more
I will try to keep this review as spoiler-free as I possibly can.
To say the least, I was rather impressed with how this story turned out so far, it’s very fascinating just all the detail that went into it. While initially the beginning felt just a little weaker to me, when the magic part of it kicked in, I gained a very serious interest in it.
Being a bit of a history buff, a bit of a romance buff and a bit of a magic buff too at the very same time might have added to it, but really, this story is very fascinating. Even as a guy, I must say, Jayden was by far my favorite character.
Though due to my nitpick-nature, I noticed a number of the flaws throughout it. Which is why I can’t give it a higher rating. And I recommend it to guys as well as the normal audience. Solid 4/5.

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It drew me in and captivated me from the beginning to the end! Loved the creativity! I found myself really sympathizing with the story's main character Heather, as she finds herself having lost faith in true love after she encounters personal issues in her life. I was also rooting for poor Jayden and found myself going back and forth between feeling sad for Kieran and feeling angry at him. The book really managed to tug at my emotions which is a sign of a great book! I was thrilled with the ending and can't wait to read the next book in the series!
I'm not much of a romantic, so I never find love triangles appealing in a book. Also, I found Heather's character to be annoying at times. I liked Jayden and Kieran. Though they had their moments, I can like them. Heather was difficult for me to relate to, but that could be for a number of reasons.However, others may not have that issue.

The story premise is interesting. I like that they are trapped in a loop waiting for a change of love to break it. I also love their backstory and their struggles. The author is an excellent writer. The story is smooth and doesn't feel like a burden to read. There were many moments were I really enjoyed the story.
