This is a story of young woman in college that is dumped by Liam her only ever boyfriend and first lover. She is crushed and a crying mess but has the support of her roommate and best friend, Jordan. And yet, less than a few days later she is contemplating how hot and attracted she is to her hunky college professor. But she is still a crying mess everytime she see's her ex with his arm around his new bombshell bimbo.

Alas, this story does go there...and she is meeting the professor at a hotel of his choice. And only after a short week or so after Liam. Too fast for me. She is also a good girl and not much of a drinker ( as the author points out) but I had to roll my eyes because she sure does knock by a lot of shots....at the pool party, at the bar, at the girls get together...at the frat party. There is sudden jealousy from the professor( who did not want a relationship) over Liam, and over a frat boy he overhears talking to Shiv in the background via a drunk call from her at said frat party. Grayson, the Professor, comes swooping in to remove her from the party. Not in person of course, or he would blow his secret relationship to her which could lose him his job and credibility.

Absurd, he tells her they must be exclusive, but he can have an ex girl friend living in his apt (just temporarily, he explains to Shiv, no sex.)
I just could not finish this story!! It kept getting too silly. Liam wants her back after a few weeks( 3, I think). She is totally over him and ready to move on...WAIT...this is after she was still crying over him a few days before.

There was not even any intercourse at this point , just one oral scene at the hotel. But I was done.

I did not finish this story. If felt rather silly and contrived.

Well until about the 30% mark, I wasn't too sure about this book. There were hints of other books in it which kind of bugged me-at first. As the story went on and I got more of this sexy Professor, my mind changed quickly.

Siobhan is a senior in college, (so the age gap isn't creepy) and lives with her bestie. She chose this University to be close to her long time boyfriend Liam. For the past few years things have been going great for Shiv and Liam, until he breaks her heart by cheating on her. Of course she is done with him and there is one thing that will quickly help her over the heart break, the sexy Professor Grayson Michaels.

Grayson Michaels isn't just a Professor. He is a millionaire playboy. He isn't looking for a relationship, just a quick lay with no strings attached. Of course all of his female students are in awe of him, however he hones in on the beautiful, sad Siobhan. Grayson watched the whole Liam thing unfold, so he knows she will be ripe for the picking.

Grayson and Shiv enter into a strange relationship, but one that will protect their hearts. Even in this relationship, the teacher/student aspect is present. Shiv has only been with Liam, so she can learn a lot from Grasyon and he is only happy to oblige.

We are now on the emotional roller coaster ride that is Grayson and Siobahn. This is where we see how young she really is, lots of accusing and crying from her which was a tad bit annoying at times. On the other hand Grayson is a hard man to handle (pun intended), he has rules and a life that she isn't ready for at all.

The situation is bad, people are trying to break them up and in the midst of all of this, somebody is messing with Shiv. The book is well written and I am so glad I suck with it as quite the story unfolded towards the end. It's set up nicely for a second book which is out already.
“Damn. Looks like I am going to be your teacher on a whole different level. Let the depravity begin,” he smiles.”

Forbidden Attraction (book 1) opens up to USC college student Siobhan Gallagher, Shiv being dumped by her boyfriend of 5 years. To make matters worse he admits to cheating and quickly attaches himself to someone new plus he speaks freely about their boring sex life. Shiv is heartbroken, embarrassed and self-conscious.

Forbidden Attraction is fast paced keeping you on your toes. My only wish would have been for Grayson to be a few years older. Not surprisingly it ends much like it reads – tumultuously! Not a cliffhanger per se, rather at a time when you want to keep on reading. Needless to say I am very much looking forward to book 2, Forbidden Love for the continuation of their story!

Larger-than-life hero! Forbidden and enticing plot! Mind-blowing sex scenes! Excellent debut by S.R. Watson!
